Being a theater educator for 16 years at Christ Church Episcopal School in Greenville, SC has been a great experience, but now I'm venturing into freelance work.  I served as Director of the Arts for the last 4 years, which included the duties of Administrator, Production Manager, and Fine Arts Department Head.  In the Upper School I taught Speech, Film Appreciation, IB Theatre, Improv, Technical Theatre, and Theatre Appreciation.  

 

Operating as lead instructor for Higher Level IB Theatre has allowed me to become closely acquainted with the complex 2 year curriculum.  I am available to come lead a focused unit on any of the areas of assessment, such as the Solo Theatre Piece, Director's Notebook, Research Presentation, and/or the Collaborative Project.  As a former instructor, I realize how important a variety of experiences are to your students.  If you are interested in learning more, take a look at my Workshops & Residencies page.
